Aditya Infotech, owner of the CP PLUS surveillance brand, has approved a ₹45.4 crore investment for a 30% fully diluted stake in KGraph AI Solutions, the company behind the BLUE AI video-compression platform.
The transaction combines fresh equity with a purchase of shares from existing holders and implies a post-money valuation of about ₹151 crore. The company said closing was expected by 5 November, subject to customary conditions.
The operating logic
BLUE’s Semantic Codec adds a perception-aware layer over H.264 video to identify redundant visual information. Aditya Infotech said deployment data indicate potential reductions of up to 90% in storage and bandwidth while retaining essential details.
The technology runs on lower-cost edge hardware without requiring GPU infrastructure and is designed to work with existing cameras and recording systems. That could help surveillance customers extend retention periods without replacing installed equipment.
BLUE will continue to operate independently while working with Aditya Infotech’s R&D teams in Noida, Ahmedabad and Taiwan. Its six co-founders are developing a ten-patent pipeline, with three applications filed and seven in progress.
What has to be proved
The 90% reduction is a company-reported deployment claim, not an independently audited benchmark across every video environment. Image complexity, required forensic detail, camera configuration and latency could materially affect real-world savings.
Aditya Infotech must also convert a minority investment into product integration and recurring software or service economics. The filing did not disclose BLUE’s revenue, profitability, customer concentration or the expected return profile.
