Indian startups raised more than $123 million across six major deals announced between 10 and 14 October 2026, according to a Best Startup report of 14 October. The largest was fitness brand Boldfit's ₹400 crore (about $47.5 million) Series B, announced on 13 October.

Boldfit

Bharat Value Fund led the round, and existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners took part. The money is meant for offline retail expansion and new categories, including recovery technology and smart wearables.

The other rounds

DailyObjects raised about $34.4 million (₹290 crore) in a Series C led by Xponentia Capital Partners, with Anicut Capital and Axiom Asia Private Capital taking part. Mesa School of Business raised ₹110 crore in a combined Series A and venture debt: Dharana Capital and Elevation Capital co-led the ₹85 crore equity part, and InnoVen Capital and Alteria Capital gave ₹25 crore in venture debt. MakeO (Toothsi) raised ₹90 crore in an undisclosed round led by Singularity AMC. NuSynth Technologies raised a ₹36.5 crore seed round co-led by Avaana Capital and Shastra VC. Clueso raised a $10 million Series A led by Dharana Capital.

What the report does not say

It gives no valuation for any company, and the rupee amounts converted into dollars are the report's own approximations.

Key numbers

  • Week's six rounds: $123 million (10–14 October)
  • Boldfit Series B: ₹400 crore (About $47.5 million)
  • DailyObjects Series C: ₹290 crore (About $34.4 million)
  • Mesa A + debt: ₹110 crore (₹85 cr equity, ₹25 cr debt)

What boards and CFOs should note

Three points stand out. First, the two largest rounds, Boldfit and DailyObjects, are consumer brands expanding into physical retail and new products, not software. Second, one investor, Dharana Capital, led or co-led two of the six rounds. Third, ₹110 crore of Mesa's round was a mix of equity and debt, so headline amounts do not all mean new equity.
