BLS Polymers Limited's initial public offering closed with bids for 4,45,24,800 shares on the National Stock Exchange, against 1,19,00,000 shares offered or reserved across categories. That represents subscription of 3.74 times on NSE, according to the exchange's issue data.
The book-built issue ran from 27 October to 29 October 2026 at a price band of ₹142 to ₹150 per equity share. The offer comprises a fresh issue of up to 1,70,00,000 shares, including an anchor reservation of 51,00,000 shares.
Demand exceeded the shares available on NSE
The exchange's consolidated bid table showed aggregate demand at 3.74 times the offered or reserved quantity. The number is an NSE bidding snapshot and should not be treated as the final basis of allotment.
Applications may be rejected or adjusted during reconciliation, including where payment mandates are incomplete. The final allotment also depends on category-level rules and verification by the registrar.
The IPO is entirely a fresh issue
NSE describes the transaction as a fresh issue rather than an offer for sale. That means proceeds from shares issued by the company are intended to go to the issuer, after expenses, rather than to selling shareholders.
At the top of the price band, 1.70 crore newly issued shares imply a gross issue size of up to ₹255 crore. At the lower end, the equivalent figure is up to ₹241.4 crore. These calculations use the disclosed share count and price band; final proceeds depend on the issue price and shares allotted.
Pricing will follow the book-building process
The final issue price is set after the order book is assessed. Investors bidding through UPI had until 5:00 PM on the final day to confirm mandates, according to NSE's issue page.
The company and lead managers will then move to allotment, refunds or unblock instructions, and listing procedures. NSE's page did not display a final issue price or allotment outcome at the time of review.
Listing performance remains separate from subscription
Oversubscription measures demand during the offer period. It does not determine how the shares will trade after listing or how the underlying business will perform.
Investors and corporate-finance teams should distinguish the bidding multiple from valuation, cash deployment and operating execution after the fundraise.
